What is Oralingo

Oralingo is a mobile internet application offering learners of the English language the opportunity to practise their speaking skills with native speakers at any time of the day, regardless of geographical location.
The tutor may be sitting in a cafe tucked away in a small village in Snowdonia, while the learner may be walking down the busy Chang-An Boulevard in Beijing.

Flexible and fulfiling

At Oralingo, everyone has full control of their time and schedule. As a spoken English tutor, you may be anything from a full time school teacher or office worker to a stay-at-home parent or a university student. You only go online when you have time to take a student request and you may hang up any time by simply saying "sorry I've got to go, see you next time". Think of yourself as a Uber driver who provides a service at any time that suits you.

Do I qualify

Any skills needed? Not really, as long as you speak standard English, and are patient with learners of all ages and backgrounds. You basically help lead the practice conversation, and occasionally correct the learner's pronunciation and grammar, politely and softly.

Any training? We have a video tutorial which guides you through the use of the app and usually that should be good enough.
